These terms are a legally binding agreement between you and LexBridge UK Limited ("LexBridge"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
LexBridge Academy is a training and qualification-support service for internationally-trained lawyers preparing for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination ("SQE") in England & Wales. The Service is provided on a subscription basis or under a firm-sponsored cohort agreement.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate registration information. You are responsible for the security of your credentials and all activity under your account.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not share your account or resell the Service.
- Do not extract, scrape or redistribute course content.
- Do not use the Service to break the law or another person's rights.
4. Fees and refunds
Fees are stated at point of purchase. Where you are a "consumer" under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you have a 14-day cooling-off period from the start of your subscription, which you waive in respect of any digital content you actively access during that period.
5. No legal advice; no qualification guarantee
The Service is educational. It does not constitute legal advice nor guarantee that you will pass the SQE or be admitted as a solicitor. Admission decisions are made solely by the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
6. Intellectual property
All course content, materials and software remain the property of LexBridge or its licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access the materials for your own SQE preparation.
7. Your content
You retain ownership of any drafts and submissions you upload. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to process them solely to provide the Service.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid in that period.
9. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for serious breach of these terms or non-payment.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
